Manager, Technology Partnerships


A Manager, Technology Partnerships impacts Zapier’s growth by defining the strategy, process, and management of the team that is responsible for working with partners on product partnerships. This team primarily focuses on cultivating, developing, deepening relationships with Zapier’s key partners like Slack, Zoom, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Shopify, and more by driving the mass distribution of Zapier’s products to their user bases.

The purpose of this role is to grow and lead the Partner Management team, provide the strategy and frameworks for how we attract and engage our partners, and partner with Product and Engineering to develop the tools our partners need to provide their users with seamless automation capabilities. This individual will also play a key role in defining what reciprocal programs are needed to ensure our partners find value in partnering with us.

This is the ideal position for a motivated individual who has proven management experience, is well versed in SaaS product partnerships, enjoys working cross-functionally in a polished manner, relishes diving into product roadmaps and APIs, and is ready to take their expertise to the global stage of Zapier.

Job Responsibilites

6+ years of Partnership/Business Development experience focused in the SaaS space Existing relationships and experience working with the world’s top SaaS providers Team leader - you’ve built and managed teams that have a resilient culture You can find and nurture new opportunities - developing strategy, finding partners, working with product, and going-to-market are familiar activities for you Outstanding oral and written communication skills, ability to present work at an executive level Technical expertise - you know your way around APIs, product roadmaps, and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty Product person at heart - Zapier is a product-first company and you are energized by good user experiences that scale

Define and execute the strategy to build and strengthen partnerships that create an exceptional product experience and increase Zapier’s market leadership Build and lead a world-class partner team of highly talented partner managers that focus on understanding the needs of our partners, users, and growing Zapier’s presence Deeply work with existing partners to grow Zapier’s exposure in key ecosystems through new product initiatives and co-marketing activities Be ear-to-the-ground and work cross-functionally; build out integrations and platform improvements with Engineering, regularly funnel partner feedback and ideas to Product, and find reciprocal ways of promoting our partners with Marketing Define and implement processes to streamline and optimize partner work in conjunction with our Partner Operations Specialist Document progress on and set company-level OKRs for the team and share regular updates with the company and executives As part of our All Hands Support initiative, help over 2,000 partners have the best possible experience partnering with and building integrations on Zapier
