This overview demonstrates how we chose to integrate Google Maps into a client's Webflow website which needed to plot a set of custom pins and "info windows" on the map based on form submissions by website visitors. The submissions are called Pledges: people state which activity they are going to perform to help improve their local, natural environment and these pledges are dotted and plotted around the map depending on where the activity is taking place. The solution makes use of Airtable for storing all the user-generated data as well as some content management for the website; Integromat for coordinating the movement of all the data to where it needs to be; and Mapping Sheets - an app which creates the pins and displays the Pledge Map as well as allowing map visitors to engage with the pins, pan around the map and so on. The solution is 100% NoCode and makes use of some of the best aspects of each tool in the stack to create a stable, scalable and automated sequence of actions thereby minimising the amount of work required by the client's team when using the solution. More videos will be released on this project over time as I zero in on some of the finer points of the project e.g. why I chose to design the flows in the way I did, how to not trip yourself up in automation flow 'spaghetti', and why keeping things simple always wins over complicated thinking! Thanks for watching the video and I'm happy to answer any questions on the details of the project. Glenn

What is a remix? When you remix a project on Makerpad, you’re submitting a project that relates to an existing project. You're trying to use the same Tools, copy and edit the functionality in new ways and/or show off what you can do with a similar system. So for example, the community submits a number of projects that are examples of doing specific things without code that you can remix to get started with your own projects. Currently there's no functionality for cloning the existing projects.
