Perhaps you want to filter your collection lists—for example, if you want your users to be able to filter their search on your app, or you only want to display certain information at a certain time, or to a certain user type. In this tutorial, we guide you through adding a simple filter to your list, and a sort function, so you can order your information however you wish.

Within Adalo, sorting lists (or custom lists, or whatever you've built) is really easy. Select your list from your app screen, and on the left-hand side you will see two fields. The first is Filter. You can add new filters and customize them how you wish.

Addiontionally, you can sort your list. For example, you can sort alphabetically, oldest to newest (based on 'created' date), and difficulty etc. There are also some advanced options like auto refreshing the list when users add new items.
