The Jetboost 'CMS Dynamic Filter' template comes with quite a few CMS collections already, but you need to add a few more if you want to capture comments and members. In this tutorial, you will learn how to set up your CMS.

We'll also add in a few extra fields to the CMS Products collection.

Here are the steps to follow to complete the steps in this tutorial;

  1. Open the products CMS Collection settings.
  2. Open Votes and uncheck required and save.
  3. Open Sort Order and uncheck required and save.
  4. Add Product ID as a text field if using automations.
  5. Add Product Comments Exist if you would like to use this a filter later on.
  6. Hit Save Collection.
  7. Hit Create New Collection.
  8. Name it 'Members' and make the URL slug 'members' also.
  9. Add in Member Name as plain text.
  10. Add in Member ID from Memberstack as plain text.
  11. Add in Member Email Address.
  12. Add any additional fields you are planning to collect from your members upon sign up.
  13. Hit Save Collection.
  14. Hit Create New Collection.
  15. Name it Product Comments and make the URL slug 'product-comments' also.
  16. Add Product Name as plain text.
  17. Add Product ID as plain text.
  18. Add Product Comment as plain text.
  19. Add Member Name as plain text.
  20. Add Member ID as plain text.
  21. Add Date of Comment as plain text.
  22. Add a reference field called 'Products' — link it to your Product collection.
  23. Add a reference field called 'Member ID' — link it to your Member collection.
  24. Open Products and add one additional reference field called 'Members' and link it to your Member collection.
